Ohio quilt shops???
I'm going to Grove City, Ohio in a couple of weeks (Holmes County?). We're planning to go to the Amish area of Ohio (I never even knew there was one!), but does anyone have any other ideas for quilt stores? We have about four days for road trips, so my friend says that we can journey to other states if we are so inclined (she seems to feel it only takes a couple of hours to get to a couple of the states). She and her mom are not quilters, but they are more than willing to cart me where I want to go (that's how they convinced me to go!). We're going to the world's largest Christmas store as well, I guess. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven't bought any fabric in quite some time and I think it would be exciting to see what people are working on/selling in another part of the country, as well as buying some treats for myself!

There is also a very nice shop in Bluffton, Ohio - just off I-75 - Forever in Stitches. Ruth, the owner, designs a lot of patterns. The shop is nice and bright. I go there every time we visit family. Have a great trip. If you are going to the biggest Christmas store, you must be going to Frankenmuth, Michigan. That is the biggest one I know. There are quite a few shops in that direction not far off I-75. Have a great trip!

Country Fabric in Shiloh is a don't miss stop. It's just north(?) of Mansfield. To get there, You get to go past the old Ohio State Reformatory.....where the Shawshank Redemption was filmed. I think you can even tour it if you are so inclined. While you're at country fabric, buy me that kit for this wool quilt.....I'm still kicking myself for not getting it when I was there.
