Ohio quilt shops???

I'm going to Grove City, Ohio in a couple of weeks (Holmes County?). We're planning to go to the Amish area of Ohio (I never even knew there was one!), but does anyone have any other ideas for quilt stores? We have about four days for road trips, so my friend says that we can journey to other states if we are so inclined (she seems to feel it only takes a couple of hours to get to a couple of the states). She and her mom are not quilters, but they are more than willing to cart me where I want to go (that's how they convinced me to go!). We're going to the world's largest Christmas store as well, I guess. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven't bought any fabric in quite some time and I think it would be exciting to see what people are working on/selling in another part of the country, as well as buying some treats for myself!

Welcome to Ohio! There are SO many wonderful quilt shops in the state! I will highlight some of the best for you to see!

First of all, Grove City is just outside of Columbus, a couple hours from Ohio Amish area, which is the Holmes County area)

In the Columbus area, some of the best quilt shops are:
Red Rooster

Dublin, OH

Quilt Trends
6155-J Huntley Rd.
Columbus

Quilt Beginnings (2 locations)
3409 E. Broad St. ( the better location)
Columbus
And
6591 Sawmill Rd.
Dublin, OH

Glass Thimble
3434 N High st
Columbus

Calico Cupboard
74 Oak Meadow Dr.
Pataskala, OH

In the Amish area:

Helping Hands Quilt Shop
4818 Main St
Berlin, OH

Country Craft Cupboard
4813 Main St (just across the street from Helping hands quilt shop)
Berlin, OH

Miller Dry Goods
Charm, OH (just about the only thing in the village)

Gramma Fannie's Quilt Barn
4363 State Route 39 (a little east of town)
Berlin, OH

Zinck's Discount Fabrics. ( a big warehouse of all kinds of fabrics)
4568 State Route 39 (close to Gramma Fannie's)
Berlin, OH

There are dozens of other great quilt shops around the state, but here are a couple of the more outstanding ones.

The Fabric Shack
99S. Marvin Lane
Waynesville, OH
A little over an hour south of Columbus, down rt. 71

The Door Mouse
5047 West State Route 12
Bettsville, OH (little over an hour north of Columbus)

If you are interested in others, let me know and I can provide you with a list for the Dayton area, the Cincinnati area, or for southeast area of the state.

Have fun! And let me know if you have any questions!

There is also a very nice shop in Bluffton, Ohio - just off I-75 - Forever in Stitches. Ruth, the owner, designs a lot of patterns. The shop is nice and bright. I go there every time we visit family. Have a great trip. If you are going to the biggest Christmas store, you must be going to Frankenmuth, Michigan. That is the biggest one I know. There are quite a few shops in that direction not far off I-75. Have a great trip!

Country Fabric in Shiloh is a don't miss stop. It's just north(?) of Mansfield. To get there, You get to go past the old Ohio State Reformatory.....where the Shawshank Redemption was filmed. I think you can even tour it if you are so inclined. While you're at country fabric, buy me that kit for this wool quilt.....I'm still kicking myself for not getting it when I was there.
