Old Gunsmoke TV Show

We're watching an old Gunsmoke show -

It's about a drought and the need for rain and water rights!

How appropriate!!

It is very hot and dry here in western Wis, too. Can't remember a summer with so many HOT days in a row. Thank goodness for crop insurance!

We're hot and dry in Utah, too. Lots of fires.

Yes, Australia - when those eucalyptus trees get burning!!!...well, you know the smell of Vicks Vapo-Rub. The smoke just seeps in all the closed windows, too.

Regarding the old Gunsmoke show, one of our prize show horses is named "Komen Mr Dillon"!!

I hear ya! I moved here to WI from FL & thought my days of hot & humid were long gone... not so much, I guess! I wonder about the cotton crop? If it's shot, fabric prices wil go up... again.

Re "Gunsmoke" & horses, I'm originally from Dodge City & there were lots of horses in the saddle club named after characters from that (& "Wyatt Earp", etc). I'll bet your horses are miserable! I keep thinking about all the poor animals suffering thru all this nutty weather...

I hadn't seen that show in ages!
