My friend and I will be visiting the area in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know of any quilt shops and scrapbook stores in the vicinity?

When we lived in Owego many years ago it was very small. The nearest town of any size was Endicott. When we were there it was such a nice, peaceful place-right on the river and you could walk almost anyplace around town. I'm sure it has changed much since then but seeing the name brought back many good memories. :)
must have hit the send twice, sorry.
The only quilt shop in Owego closed aout 6 months ago because the owner retired. There is a great shop 8 miles away from Owego in Candor. Here's the website address.

Ithaca is only about 15 miles from Candor and there is another great shop there too.
Patchwork Angels in Endicott is about 10 miles from Owego.
How are you traveling to Owego? There are probably some good shops on the way depending what direction you travel from.
What will you be doing in Owego? I live 10 minutes away.
It hasn't changed it all - everything you said is still true. Owego was voted "coolest small town in America" in 2009.Quote:

We will be visiting a friend of mine who has moved there from Arizona.
Pucky Huddle Delight is a great shop, several of my friends shop there often.
There's another nice shop between Corning and Elmira in Big Flats. The Village Sampler - check it out.
