Has any one else tried pandora internet radio. (pandora.com) You log on and type in an artist you like or a certain type of music and it plays that artist and similar artists forever. I start it when I start sewing and can listen to music I like all day. Check it out. It's great.

I subscribe to it. It's great. You can put in up to 100 stations. I can listen to a mix of anything from Big Band to Led Zepplin. :)

Do you do the free one or have you paid for it? I really enjoy the free one but the other one looks like a great deal.

I tried it several times. Sometimes it's right on, others it doesn't fit my mood with the music it chooses.

I paid for it. I listen to it mostly when I'm at work. I really, really hate the radio car commercials (idjits screaming why I need to buy their smeggin' brand of car)

According to their FAQ - it's $36 for the year, "unlimited listening hours every month, no advertising, no daily skip limit, higher audio quality streams, and several other benefits."

They have to work around/with copyright laws. I put in an Abney Park station, but it tends to play every Goth song on the planet. The ones I like, I put a "thumbs up"; the ones that I don't like, I just put in a "thumbs down".

I also have a wide range of music that I will listen to. ::shrugs:: I'm just an odd cat when comes to tastes in music.
