This is tooo cute... I had 5 boys and all my boys have boys..7 grand sons so far.. so to say the lease I am over run with testerone. I did get one girl.. and yup you guessed it.. she has 2 girls.. lol... anyways.. this is such a cute idea.. when I had my boys I just did a hurry up and change. I used cloth diapers with my kids.. I was really poor and couldn't afford the luxury of disaposal.. but it was so nice to hear people ask how my diapers were always so nice and white hanging on the lines drying.. lol... ohhh the memories..

I had this happen one time. I was 4 yrs old and my parents had just come home with my baby brother. I was standing next to the changing area and got a nice shower. I was so mad! I had on a new dress. I do have a son but by then I had changed many baby boys, I was a pediatric RN. Just be sure you have a spare wash cloth, diaper or small towel to put over him when you take the dirty ditty off. Be sure to have the clean diaper right there ready to use.

I made those for my first grandson, cute doggie and fire hydrant fabric. Daughter never used them, a gag gift, I guess. I just learned with my baby boy that it was going to happen when the cold air hit him, and I trained him to spray on command when the diaper came off. Helped a lot during hospitalizations when he had to have a UA done, and I didn't want the bag glued on his tender skin.

The link given earlier is to the way our sewing group makes these pee pee tepees. They are easy to make. We have a sale at our hospital twice a year and these are big sellers. Most people laugh when we explain what they are used for, because their use is not immediately recognized. Have fun making them.

When my sons were little I used cloth diapers, and had an extra handy for this purpose, but these are so charming. I'm glad you reminded me because my niece is expecting her baby boy any day now.

I just placed a dry wash cloth over my grandsons little front while I quickly changed his diaper. Worked quite well and you don't have to do it for very long because I guess they stop sending a shower up after they get a bit older.

Two friends and I, student nurses, first day in our rotation in the newborn nursery--oohing and ahhhing over a precious baby boy. He of course needed a diaper change. Think of the mouth formation saying ahhhh. Yup, our little guy's aim was right on into my friend's mouth! A memory from >44yrs ago.

'lol... I always told the girls be careful your going to get 'baptized' again if you're not careful...
