I was at work yesterday when my DD called me.
She said, " ya know when kids are little, like age 3 or 4, and they find the scissors and cut their own hair?"

I said, "yes, and when you have two kids and they give each other hair cuts --just before picture time, at age 3 and 4 or 5?"

Her reply. " Yeah, well, it doesn't work at age 33 either!"

LOL

I am giving her a hair cut tonight, to fix her attempt.

Funny! Of course I imagined your DD was in the 3-4 yr. old category.

Love it. It happens to all mothers. Recently my GD cut her hair and it was right in the front and on top. Very short. Thank goodness it is grown out now.
