Pink Princess and Baby Lena

1 Attachment(s)
My Granddaughter (then 5) asked me to make her a
pink princess doll. I didn't know what a p.p. looked like. "Oh, don't worry, Gram, I'll show you" and she proceeded to draw.

I traced her drawing onto muslin - and we have a Pink Princess.

Sister needed a Baby Lena, who looks a princess, but in green.

This turned out to be a great bonding project.

They are just adorable, and I love that she drew the pink princess doll.
My grandbaby and I made a very simple bookmark out of one of her drawings.

Right, I used muslin. It doesn't stretch, it's just cotton. And I
use colored pencils and acrylic paint for the face.

aww....that is so sweet and what a bonding experience you two had. She's never going to forget that one. I sat with my son and made a pillow and he's been talking about it for like 6 months.
