Help! I have a new digital camera. Have put my pics into the computer from the camera. Now I want to posst my pics on this site but I can't seem to. I'vre followed the directions from this site and get as far as file attachments. The problem seems to be in finding the file name in my computer and it has even rejected the file name that's right there with the picture! Keeps saying it doesn't recognize the name or there is no file by that name. Have tried everything I can think of! The users manual for the camera is less than helpful!!

try looking for the date you put the picture on the computer in the picture file.

When you load your pictures from the camera, make sure your picture is in JPG, GIF, BMP, or PNG format. If your camera doesn't load one of these formats, the picture won't post.

are you trying to type the picture name in the box you get when your computer files are listed? don't do that. just find the picture in the list and click on it. the title of the pic will auto load.

Where are the pictures filed on your computer? You'll need to hit the "browse" button to find them. When you hit that button, a box will pop up and list your computer's contents on the left. You'll need to first find the location where the pictures are on that side, then all the files that are in that location or file will show on the right. Double click the picture you want to upload to the board, and it will put the full "path" of the picture, which includes where on your computer the picture is and the name of the picture.

Organize your photos in folders & sub-folders - makes it easier to locate.
