Quilting magazines at the doctors office

I always take my nook to read since I hate just sitting there doing nothing. Today I forgot my nook and "had" to read the magazines. Much to my shock there were all these quilting magazines laying around. I could have stayed there all day unfortunately they took me pretty quickly, I just needed to give blood. I think I need to go buy the one I was reading, as much as I was trying to justify bringing it home to return later I just could not do it.

I would have asked to take and return it. I was at the car dealer to get oil change. There was a wonderful quilting book on the coffee table. First time I ever wanted them to take a long time. Well I left but kept thinking about the book. I went back and they gave it to me.

Be careful reading magazines at the doctors! LOL! It is a habit of most people to lick thier fingers to turn pages...and oh the colds and flus you can catch! Remember when they thought H1N1 was going around? Did you notice that they removed all mags from the hospitals and doctors offices for a period of time...major 'bug spreaders' they are. Just a thought...nope, I am not a paranoid person...LOL!

I quit reading magazines in Doctor's offices due to all the germs around these days. It would have been hard not to pick up a Quilting magazine though. At least they should have the hand sanitizers around you could use afterward.

Us quilters show up in the most unlikely places. I work in an office of two, and both the nurse and I are quilters. It's a small world. We've yet to recycle our quilting magazines with the patients though.

Wow that is a good Ideal, I wonder if my Doctors would take some of my quilting magazines?

Gee I need to switch docs, mine has golf and newsweek. And to you that say not to look at those magazines, I wonder if you any of you use money? Very dirty and germy. And your mail, yep it too is very nasty. Your groceries, and grocery carts. I'm sorry I can't live my life in fear of a magazine, unless there's a little boogie on it!

I don't pick up anything to read at the doctor's office. I am a germ freak and don't deny it. It's all I can do to breath while I'm in there. Would hold my breath if I could. They do offer masks but I hate to look silly.
