sometimes when on the computer, I see a blank window and a little red x in one of the corners. Anyone have an idea what these red x's are all about ? Sure hope one of my Quilting friends can tell me because the mystery is driving me bonkers!

I think it means that a picture is there... sometimes if you right click on it, a menu will come up that says "show picture" sometimes it will and sometimes it won't I can't figure it out and I lived with a computer geek for 10 years!!! Should have asked before I left, huh!

It means a picture is unable to be displayed.

On some forums pictures are posted using a link from someplace like PhotoBucket. If at a later date the picture is changed on PhotoBucket the link is broken. Hence the red X.

(The picture is actually stored on PhotoBucket)

Sometimes there will be a red X where the signature is supposed to be if the website is having problems.
