I participated in a round robin several years ago and our theme was houses. One girl picked lighthouses for her blocks. I did the Thomas Point Shoal lighthouse (#10) for my block. I bought a pattern at a quilt shop in Maryland that had paper pieced lighthouses of Maryland. It was a fun block to make.
This is my paper pieced block of the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse Here are her lighthouse blocks for her round robin quilt---mine is in the lower left corner. |
Nope. no way. Uhuh. Forget it. I wouldn't have nightmares in those places, because I wouldn't be able to sleep!!!

I swear I have seen some similar to #4 on the sides of Fjords in Norway. I think that would have been real. That one in the Iceberg would have been interesting.

that tree one, makes me think of Madame Blueberries house on veggie tales.
The one hanging by the cables, looked the scariest! |
