I just want to comment on how amazing everyone is :) with the things that you make and the family traditions you share and even the recipies! (my DH loves the Amish Friendship Bread I made)

Tonight has been a rough night ... Up down up down ... I suppose it could be because I am 28 weeks pregnant haha! But anyways, while I was bored and trying not to think about things, I found solice in this board :) I have enjoyed reading through posts and looking through pictures and thankfully I finally feel better to go back to sleep :)

So it may not seem like much but thank you to everyone on this board for helping me get through a rough night!

Granna of 5 12-26-2010 03:15 AM

I hope it's just baby movement keeping you awake and not something that's worrying you. Night night.

Unfotunately it was baby not agreeing with dinner lucky I am blessed enough to not have too many worries on my plate right now :)

I'm glad that's "all" it was, and I know it's awful to be up in the wee small hours of the morning, but at least you know it'll pass. Best of luck for the rest of your pregnancy.

Mine was around 9 or 10 before I ever slept through an entire night without getting up to check on her at least once.

kbs 12-26-2010 09:03 AM

You need to get your sleep now, there will not be much after baby gets here. Glad the board helped.

Hope you are feeling much better now. Do you know what the baby is yet or do you not want to know.Babies are so precious. My wife and I fostered over 225 newborns in 12 years and loved it. Our son and daughter were 5 and 8 when we started and loved the all the babies too. My daughter
(soon to be Dr) is now Director of a adoption and homestudy organizaton here in Kentucky.

I took a nap this morning before Mass so all is well on the home front :)

There is no snow in Lousiana ... but my in-laws did send me a picture of their house COVERED in snow!

I am feeling better ... thank you! We are having a little girl - Layton Josephine (Jo) who should arrive around March 20th :)

The funny thing is ... she only moved for a few minutes during the hour and a half that I was up :) She moves ALL THE TIME during the day and then again between 10 and 12 at night :)

Today will be a peanut butter toast kinda day though lol

Anne T 12-27-2010 09:17 AM

Congrats, it does get better.

jojosnana 12-27-2010 09:46 AM

May you be blessed with all the sleep you need.....because when the wonderful baby arrives, you won't get a lot for awhile.......but they are always worth it.

sweet 12-27-2010 09:56 AM

That is so nice of you to express your appreciation. How exciting for you to be pregnant! Congratulations!!!!!

Quilter2B 12-27-2010 04:44 PM

I second that notion. Congratulations on the little one.

Annz 12-27-2010 07:04 PM

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Izaquilter 12-27-2010 08:21 PM

I can remember worrying with my first one if I'd be a good mother or not. I would loose sleep over that, even cry because "what if" Once you hold the little one in your arms all the worries are worth it. We waited 14 yrs for our 2nd & I only worried about my epidural! That was a breeze too. It seems that some people will tell the most awful witch stories to you & every pregnacy is different. Don't let anyone's stories get to you becuase it may not even pertain to you! I think it depends on the person having the baby & their schedules how smoothly things go. I was very fortunate 2 times! Bless you & the baby. The best times of your life is about to begin!

Dee 12-28-2010 08:34 PM
