Great job; did you use the cutwork needles on them.

rootyr 05-25-2012 12:39 PM

No I used a regular needle on them. When the other girls send me their pictures I will post for you. I am hoping to use many of the projects we did at class in quilts or wall hangings etc.

I'm going to her seminar in August. Really looking forward to it. Any tips for me?

rootyr 05-26-2012 01:22 AM

Ruby, you will love the seminar. No tips as they really do have everything covered. I bought a few CD's but did not spend a lot of money and came home with oodles of projects to do. They had some GREAT show specials unlike any you can get on their web site. I would bring a pencil or pen and a sheet of paper. Not many notes though. Come back and tell us how you made out!

SingerSewer 05-26-2012 03:48 AM

Beautiful! What kind of machine do you use?

Blinkokr 05-26-2012 03:57 AM

Tweety2911 05-26-2012 04:10 AM

Beautiful! I especially love the cutwork. Did you need a special foot to do that?

quiltingcrazy 05-27-2012 04:42 PM

Very nice, I want to do machine embroidery but need a class like the one you took part in. Good Work!

busygranny 05-27-2012 05:23 PM

I also just took this 2 day seminar and someone asked for a hint. Here is my hint. Take lots of money or a good credit card. It was fun and a lady in our group bought a machine, so the rest of us in the group all got to pick a program of our choice for free.
So that was nice. But anyone who can take it, take it. It was informative and fun.

Scrap41 05-27-2012 05:48 PM

Will keep my eye out for a workshop in my area, looks like something I would
like to learn. Thanks for sharing with us. Love your work.
