If I bring them out for any reason I put them on a lanyard around my necK!

Really? over scissors? The only frustration I feel is remembering to buy another pair. :D

I bought great scissors at the dollar store. No joke

I have a set of little padlocks that I put through the handles of my good scissors, leaving them useless to anyone who doesn't know the combination (and only I know the combination!) Works for me.

This solution is priceless!! Love it!! Even got a chuckle out of my DH!

I bought 2 sets of 3 knife-edge scissors for 12.95 at Tuesday Morning last week. Probably should have bought all they had. They really are knife-edge. I gave one set to my daughter for Christmas. I can NEVER find scissors at her house. I don't know how she can manage without scissors??? Her daughter was with me - and she said, "I'm so glad you're giving those to Mom. I can NEVER find scissors at Mom's!"

I actually bought scissors for the kitchen and my husband's desk, so that no one would take my scissors. It's been working.

It's a gun safe.
I saw this and thought about some of the Ladies here. Who would cut the arms off their family members for using their scissors to cut something other than fabric. ...LOL

When they use your Gingher's or other good shears for paper-cutting, cardboard hacking, hair trimming or cutting the matted hair off the dog,or maybe even trimming their nose hairs........etc.....

Have I found the perfect solution!!!!!!

I saw this at the sporting goods store.

Under the penalty of death I told my boys NOT to touch my shears, my DH too. they believed me.
