This isn't really quilt related but it is about sewing. Does anyone have a "binky" pattern they're willing to share or know where I can find one. I have searched and searched but can find a pattern for them. TIA!!

This is sorta what it looks like but the binky is at the bottom and the baby wears the bib around its neck and has it ready for him whenever.

Crafty, I guess I should've explained myself a little better. What you posted is not quite what I'm looking for. What I am looking for is a baby bib that has one attached on bottom of bib. Well, at least a snap or velcro where you can attach one. Hard to explain but I'll know when I see it.

I posted a pic of what it sorta looks like BUT the "binky" is at the bottom and the baby wears the bib around its neck. know what I mean?

The kiddos in our families always called their pacifiers "binky"...lol

Is this what you are looking for? Yes, I have it. I'm not ready to part with it, but I could trace the pattern and send that. I got it via freecycle.

My suggestion is to find a bib pattern that you like and add the "binky"(pacifier) to the bottom. You can use twill tape or grosgrain ribbon and just sew it on.

Binky is actually a particular brand of pacifier, but has come to be used as a generic term - like Coke for soda pop or Kleenex for tissue.

SO..reverse it...make the bib and then make the binky tab...though really.. a binky???...ugh...

that would be a copyright infringement...send her the pattern when you are done..

All you have to do is make a bib, then either sew on ribbon or tape. You could attach one end of the tape/ribbon to the back, then put 1 part of a snap on the front where you stitch and the other part of the snap on the end of the tape/ribbon. what you are doing is just attaching a pacifier holder to a bib. This way the "binky" could be changed out as needed.

PS: you can use Velcro instead of the snap, too.

It's a baby passifier

Searched all day, finally found one. It's not the long one ( 9 1/2" x 15"). This pattern is a little shorter, but it looks like it will be good!!

My kids called their favorite napping blanket a "binkie"

My kids never used a pacifier.
