this shirt which I love had a big stain(like everything I own) right in the front. With a stencil and decolourant which is a product that removes color it looks like new

It is wonderful. Where do you get decolorant. Will the Rit color remover work. It is a powder. I saw this on PBS but didn't see the very beginning and was interrupted by my husband. Do you rinse out the decolorant. So many questions, any hope of a tute?

you can find lots of tute on you tube just search decolorant don't forget a big cup of coffee
don't know about Rit color give it a try

Great job!Never thought of doing that with my stained shirts, What did you use for your shadings? Just got some new stencils at teh Sew Expo will have to try them out on my shirts I was going to throw away.

You can actually use liquid dishwasher detergent to do this with, I used to see someone do this on a craft show that used to be on the old HGTV.
