Pay attention to your sent items box too. I got rid of mine last night. Also, this is a pain in the rump. I had a problem opening my email on my computer so I went directly to my server and downloaded my emails. It downloaded EVERY EMAIL FOR about a year. You can only delete 50 at a time. It took me days to get rid of them. Even if I had already opened and deleted them, they came up. Good old embarqmail.com. LOL

Missed a couple important emails in the past to learn that I need to check emails daily. My page shows 50 emails. If it goes to the 2nd page, I delete, delete delete or send them to a labeled file to read later. I empty 'trash' often. Learned from previous employer to never let emails build up or save anything unnecessary. Computers slowed down and froze up enough that they made it a corporate policy to check emails regularly and get rid of the junk.

I read & delete daily & put ones I want to keep in organized folders. Also clean out deleted folder daily. I'm a retired librarian & learned to not keep something you will not need again - makes it easier to find something you want to revisit.

Same here. I empty the trash as soon as I delete.

I try to go through 50 at a time and delete the ones I could care less about. I also try not to go over a few days without checking and deleting. Since I started quilting and get lots and lots of quilt related emails, that pretty much fills up my inbox... Have to delete some and can't save them all!

I just hit delete on all in my throw away account. My account for family if not replied to they call me. LOL. I read my email when I want and don't make it a have to thing. I don't mind deleting all if it at once without ever seeing what it is.

I read and delete twice a day. I only keep the e-mails from my children.
