Did you know you can have your books spiral bound. Office Depot and Staples will take you quilt books and spiral bind them. They will lay flat and be much easier to use. I was happy to see that they were a reasonable price for this service. I plan to have more of mine done.

Yes! I love to have my books spiral bound. I have mine done at Kinko's. I have a couple more that I am thinking about doing. Years ago someone in my knitting guild suggested it to me for books that have charts.

I do this all the time with soft cover craft books. the price is cheaper than the shipping charges I paid for them.
|
yes but make sure all pages have room to have the spiral cuts done without losing any of the print. i had one done and loved it.

Lol I thought this was a thread on some new kind of binding - for QUILTS!
|
I did this for my It's OK if you sit on my quilt book. SOOOOO much easier to handle.

This is a great tip :D:D:D
|
you can also take them to most any printshop and get them done!

This was recommended to me years ago when I took an applique class. Made the patterns so much easier to copy! I have more I would love to have done but $$$$ is stopping me.

This does work great! I have done several quilting books that way. My only issue was that my darling little dog decided to chew up a couple of the curly bindings! Argh!!
