Here's a funny problem
My new cord pants fit great, look great & squeak when I walk!! They are not too tight, just nice & comfy. Will the squeak go away? silly

I remember them making a noise too, back in the 70's when cords were so popular  :lol:

I remember that noise, and it was loud with teenaged girls all trying to "be cool".
I'd suggest lots of fabric softener, and if that doesn't work, wait for them to get old enough to be soft.

Walk through rooms when the TV is on loud, sneak around with your legs far apart when tiny kids are asleep...

I think that time will take care of this...it does everything else!!

When my son was little, he called them 'vips' for the sound they made when he walked. vip vip vip

I'm doing to toss them in the dryer w a fabric soft sheet right now!

Oh how funny!! Look at it this way- you won't ever go unnoticed! hahaha :D
I haven't worn cords in so long I can't remember the noise! I do love cords though, but I live in jeans.

If I wore cords, my thunderthighs would turn the cord ridges into sandpaper and soon the fabric would be smooth. lol
