Just wanted to post a note about how much we like Steve, our regular mail carrier.
He's always cheerful - he's willing to do "more than the minimum" In fact, most of the people connected with our local Post Office are friendly and helpful! |

Good for Steve! Good for you that you have such a nice group to work with.
I like our carrier too. He brings me things so I don't have to walk to the box. |

sadly I now have a NEW(to this neighborhood) Postal carrier...hate is a strong word, so let us say, I thoroughly despise his LAZY self....I miss my lady carrier so much...but she was attacked by a pit bull on her walking portion of the route and quit that day...sigh...my doggies miss her too..she had a cookie for them everyday...of course that is why they run to the door whenever the bell rings..

My mail-person will say hello if we're out doing yardwork on the weekends when she goes by. She was chatting with my husband the other day. Asked him if I gave quilt lessons. I said, Why did she ask that? He says, well, if you're getting two quilting magazines a month, and obviously there is a lot of (squishy) fabric packages coming in and going out to QB members, and from places with nice sounding names like Mountain View quilt shop, she thought I just had to be a quilter and she would like to take lessons!

So far in my area all carriers and inside clerks are extra nice .... Of course,
I always defend the P.O. as late husband was a Letter Carrier for over 12 years in cold, snowy Wis. |
