I have the same problem. This works for me. The gadget changes the position of the shoulder strap.

Works for me too. Putting a wrap on the seatbelt may minimize the rubbing, but it still chokes.

I told my DH that the seat belt may hold me in the car, but where the belt hits my neck, I'd bleed to death from the cut in my neck it would cause.

It depends on your make of car. I went to the Chrysler dealer and they want $40. for one. I told him to forget it!

On the right hand side where you push in the seat belt, try putting it down, not straight up. It really helps me keep it off my neck.

I can't stand the seat belt rubbing at my neck and I'm 5'6". I also had the clip that "Glassquilt" mentioned, but got mine at Walmart years ago and they broke. Now they carry a different one made by..Custom Accessories, same type of clip just made a little different. About $3 for a 2 pack. They are in the automobile dept. I have them now, but they keep un-snapping so I'm going to either hot glue where they snap together or somehow tie them together. But, they do keep the belt off your neck.
