She's been made over! She looks like a different person!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...-makeover.html

"However, her new look has caused consternation behind the scenes with sources on the show said to be 'frantic', as they wanted to preserve her unique looks for the live finals."

I say they should leave her alone! The poor woman has had the paparazzi camped outside her house 24/7 since she was on tv.

Being unemployed, I'm sure the beauty 'treats' were an unaffordable luxury until now, so now she's had some success, any woman in her right mind would go out and get 'tidied up' and pampered - especially if they had pics of themselves in the papers every day! Good for her I say!

That reminds me, my eyebrows need waxing too!

I like her "new" look. I say let her sing and leave her alone. Maybe she is just coming into her own - no one ever cared before! And now we all do. If someone offered me a make over, I would take it too!!!!

I think she looks great. A little fixed up, but nothing overwhelming. She still shows herself.

Harmony 04-24-2009 05:47 AM

I agree! She still looks like herself, just cleaned up a little. The producers of the show can go jump in the lake--there's not a woman in the world who wouldn't understand why she did it, and I think she looks great!

I think she looks almost the same but what ever they did looks like she lost 20 lbs.

Ninnie 04-24-2009 07:38 AM

I think she looks terrific, not different, just up dated some and I hope she rides this fame as far as she can go. She seems like a deserving lady! And no matter how she changes, when you close your eyes that voice will still be there.

(reminds me eyebrows need plucked, legs need shaved, and roots are showing Hummmm I need a makeover!)

I think she looks great too. I wouldn't even consider it a makeover. I agree with ninnie, just more up to date and makes her look a little younger.

Good GAWD people ( NOT yall) This is a woman who has been taking care of her Mother. For the first time in her life it IS all about HER. My goodness let her primp if it makes her feel special then GOOD FOR HER.
Its not like she got a mohawk and dyed it purple an wearing micro mini and bikini top. She looks good, classy and very age appropriate.

They will never get the reaction they got the first time she stepped out on stage no matter how hard they try.

Right on! Ms Sage.

I agree totally. It's not a make"over" at all, just a tidy up! ;-)

She looks great.... it's age appropriate, it's not flashy, it's just plain stylish.

As for the comment on heels... she wore heels on her first performance because I remember noticing she didn't seem entirely comfortable on them.
