I know there must be a bunch of fans of Law and Order SVU. I didn't watch last season because it conflicted with two other shows I watched. Figured I could catch up on TNT. My question is "What happened to Elliot"? I've been meaning to ask for some time now, but always forget LOL The old CRS syndrome at work.

No I meant what became of his character on the show. Did they kill him off? I have never cared for Jennifer Love Hewitt. In ghost wisperer she always had to show off her boobs LOL

I don't know what happened to his character on Law and Order, but he's going to be one of the new vampires on the True Blood show.

All I've seen is there was an episode or 2, where he was shot, then the re-occuring role of the lady Social Worker was killed by a young girl in the precinct office and I think Stabler had to shoot her. It was a major episode or 2 about the ability of kids to get a hold of guns from the streets. I believe it was a season ender and he was "suppposedly" on medical leave and then made a decision to not come back. I saw the episode when the Chief told Liv that he wasn't coming back and she went in an interrogation room and broke down crying. Next episodes show various new people on the team and she is very cold to them. Also when the new season starts, Liv is going to have a "love interest" played by Harry Connick, Jr.

Don't think I will like Elliott as a blood sucking vampire! JMHO

Yup, I totally miss him. Oh, Elliott, it's not the same without you.
I am not into vampires but I might have to check out the show he will be on. Haven't watched SVU without him, and I missed last season entirely so I need to figure out how to catch the repeats.

Also, if you didn't know, Christopher Meloni was also on Oz, which was on HBO a few years ago. I rented the DVDs over time and watched a few years of it. It is a fantastic but very raw prison drama, not really for the faint of heart.
He was on some of the middle seasons, and I think he was "showing some skin" (lots of skin) in many episodes:)
