We just got back from an evening under the stars in Palo Duro Canyon, Texas, and saw the Texas Musical for the 5th or 6th time! It gets better every year . . . if any of you are passing through the Texas panhandle on your summer trip I would highly recommend it. P.S. It was a joint gift to my husband and I for our 29th anniversary!

I've always wanted to see that. Mentioned it to hubby and he didn't have the first clue what I was even talking about.
Men, gotta love em.. |
I've seen it and you just reminded me of how much I really enjoy it. Time to go back again.
I lived in Amarillo for two years, back in the 60's . |
It's been years and years since I've been. In fact, I think the musical was Oklahoma!
|
Well Happy Anniversary! Glad it was fun!

Yes, the Texas musical is worth going to. I've not been to see the Oklahoma musical, but hope to go some day. It is in the Tulsa, OK area and about 7 or 8 hours driving distance from the Texas musical.

We also had a great laugh when "Quanah Parker" fell off his horse! He struggled to get back on, but ended up just running alongside. There were a lot of jokes in the audience about how Quanah must have been hitting the "firewater". |
