There is still hope for Clever Quilters order
 
I ordered fabric on Feb 14th, and today received confirmation that my order is being shipped. So there is still hope. I also ordered again on the 15th, but as of yet have not received that confirmation. At least I know I am getting some of what I ordered. Can't wait til it gets here!:D

some quilt shops are (home based) small businesses with only one or two people working- when they run sales- or specials sometimes they get hit with alot of orders all at once- and they can only put together one order at a time- sometimes it can take a couple weeks for them to get down the stack to yours. read the (about us) links and shipping policies when planning to order from on line shops then you will have an idea of how long you may wait - often they tell you to expect 2-3 weeks.

I'm not getting anything I ordered. They emailed and canceled my order and said they were overwhelmed.

I also ordered from Clever Quilting and have not received the order. I have been concerned about my credit card being out there. I sure hope this is a legitament business. I ordered $70.00 worth of fabric. I tried to go to the web site and it is down.

I am sorry to hear that you are not getting anything you ordered. That is usually my luck.

To ckcowl: I am sorry, I was not complaining about it taking so long to get my order. I am sure they were overwhelmed with sales being that everything was 65% off. I was just surprised that I was receiving anything. I won't be surprised if my second order will not be filled, I am just thankful I am getting what I am getting.

I received my order on Friday. It had about 2/3 of what I ordered. At the prices they were selling I was actually surprised I got that much. A small shop just would not have the inventory for the Huge amount of orders that got placed.

I ordered and they just informed me that they can not fulfil my order due to the high demand. Bummer. The fabric was all batiks and at a great price. I had to completely wrap my head around other fabric for my two new projects. (Since I needed all the material I ordered, I did tell them not to send me any if they couldn't send me all of it.)

Hmmmmm ... I also ordered during that wonderful sale. I just got an email saying the order had shipped, but have not been told anything about missing items. I ordered with a friend and she's already paid me for her part so ... hope at least that comes. I also ordered on the 14th. The confirmation email said I would be notified by email if any of my order could not be shipped so ... hoping for the best!

The time that has passed does not concern me. Online orders often take at least this time - I'm always surprised when orders come in less than 2 - 3 weeks. I ordered a gallon of Best Press from Joanns on the same day and it just arrived yesterday so .. a few more days is not an issue.

I also ordered from them. Haven't got it yet. Emailed them and called have not got a responce to either. Hope to get a refund if they can't honor the sale. Ordered on the fifteen also

I also ordered and received an email on Saturday that my items were on their way. I'll let you know if I get everything I ordered. I just think they had such a hugh response to their sale that they were a little overwhelmed.

I received my order today. I didn't receive everything I ordered and the biggest disappointment was the Aurifil thread set. I had ordered the thread set, 4 batiks and the McKenna Ryan Something Fishy pattern set with the 4 blocks (which was a bargain at under $16). I received the patterns and 2 of the batiks. They did reduce the shipping to $5.15. Hearing of all the cancelled orders, I am happy with what I did get.

I received my order today also. Got 2 of the 7 fabrics I ordered. Sure saved me some money. Also received confirmation that my 2nd order has been shipped. Wonder how much I saved on that one!

I got the dreaded email saying they were out of fabrics I ordered. Been going crazy trying to find something else to use.

Went to the web site to see how to contact them and find it's now a going-out-of-business sale. How sad. I received 7 of the threads I ordered, 1 of the 4 kits, 0 of the 2 FQ bundles, and 2 of the 6 yardages. So sorry to see another site closing. And, of course, disappointed that my order was cut so. Never got an email or anything saying that I wouldn't be getting what I ordered, but I'm sure they were overwhelmed.

I received 3 partial pieces of the 8 ordered. I agree that it is sad to see another fabric shop close. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread.
