Things To Do After 50
 

1. A chef-cooked meal at home once a month.

2. The coolest-ever phone.

3. The comfiest-ever new mattress.

4. Real maple syrup.

5. Shoes that are comfy before stylish.

6. Coffee that you grind yourself.

7. Manicures every week.

8. Fabulous teeth.

9. A dress, hat, etc....just because.

10. A catered Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Grandparents Day, …

11. Nice photos of the motorcycle, time-share, downhill skis, gourmet club, wine of the month, and formal wear you gave up for your kids.

12. The 9 o'clock movie, and not on Saturday morning.

13. A six-pack of massage certificates.

still waiting for the "Over-50" fairy to come and pay for all that for me!! I do grind my own coffee though....

Spend more time with the grandchildren, they grow up soooooo fast!:)

actually this list sounds more like "before marriage" than "after 50"!!

I would love to have a catered Thanksgiving. I keep saying that I would enjoy the holiday much more if someone came in and cooked and served the meal. It will never happen.

You've got the right idea. I'm 10 years past that landmark, and realize that my window of opportunity where I am healthy enough to enjoy life, while financially comfortable enough to do so is flitting away.

I like your idea's and time with my kids and grandkids added to it would be delightful

I did that this year was so fed up with the bickering that we had TG dinner at the local dinner they did a great job I paid and and was happy to not have to worry about who liked what, and not having to do dishes for all those people was a great gift for me,and the cost was less than I spend to feed all those people.
