My bird house that is! It is actually one of my mom's birdhouses she put in my front yard. She thought it was so cute looking like a real house with all that snow.

Thanks everyone! My mom collects all kinds of birdhouses. This is one of my favorites.

You know for all you people who don't know what to do with your scraps and leftover threads I am sure the birds would love to add them to their nests if you could find a spot outside to leave them. Just a thought!

Hey that is a good idea. I don't do big quilts but I have designed houses for hotpads and used to make them to sell. I could use this birdhouse as an inspiration for one of my hotpads! Great idea!

Aww, that's cute. If you put threads out for the birds, make sure that you cut them really short.

So cute I love the little house, but do be extra careful of any
thread as it can get wrapped around a baby birds foot and
they can end up with a toe are nails torn off are worse a cut off leg
altogether, and the fabric gets wet and doesn't dry out and can weight there nest down witch falls and breaks the eggs.
