All y'all in St. Louis, pay attention to the TV. I'm praying for all of you to be safe.

Check in when you can.

We've got storms passing thru our county right now too...I guess I better check to see if there are any watches or warnings.

Well the storm went over, hubby ran to the basement while the majority of the kids were playing Monopoly in the dining room. There was an official "tornado" not more than 2 miles from me, but as yet haven't heard any damage reports beyond trees knocked down.

Glad to hear your place was safe from harm.

I havent had the news on today, but have family across the river from St.Louis, a niece in Chesterfield working, and did you mean Rolla, MO. Have family near there. Any more info?

Sorry yes so far there has been one tornado fatality in rolla mo. We were in chesterfield mo and we got some nasty storms wind and hail but only lasted five min before it let up and went on it's way. We drove to the joannes in baldwin -half mile from chesterfield (where I scored big!) the golf course got tore up by either a tornado or severe winds. Aprox 15 Trees were uprooted a few close homes had major roof damage. It could of been worse hopefully the damages were building related and not people related. God was sheltering us. Whew.

thanks for the update. Those darn things are so scary and so dangerous. Hope we don't get any heading our way, but with this warm weather this time of the year, never know what will happen. Sure glad there was a Joannes close by for you to shelter in. What better place to take your mind off the storm. LOL

Yes, the st. Louis County area around Sunset Hills and some other scattered areas had some damage, some had lots of damage, 10,000 out of electric (us included)only a couple of people got a little hurt, none serious and no deaths. What a great amazing thing that was, some buildings fell down and apart. Governor declared the area a diaster area. None around where we live. Some damage at Ft. Lenardwood also.
