like, just terry cloth by the meter?
We have it at my store, in 8oz, 10oz and 14oz terry, and some stretch terry. Not sure of the prices, but I KNOW it's expensive...
Maybe there's is some place online you can find and order...

Edit: ok I found some

Thanks so much for the info....I looked at some that I knew about and they didn't carry terrycloth, I think one of these will be good, the first is free shipping, really good Nancy

There is a place in the USA around the Minneapolis/St Paul area called Chenille Magic where they sell all kinds of chenille and maybe terry cloth. I have ordered chenille from them to make a cozy baby quilt for my little Granddaughter. The web site is http://www.chenillemagic.com

I made robes for my granddaughters from heavy bath towels. I had my daughter watch for a good sale and asked her to buy three big towels. I used the edging on the towels for the edge of the hood and the sleeves, as well as the bottom of the robes. They turned out beautiful, and were way less expensive than buying terry cloth. Another thing you could use would be beach towels, as long as they were heavy enough. I bought coordinating fabric for the facing, which you could also use for the belt. I used leftover "towel cloth" for the belt and that turned out good too!
