I have to use a cable to transfer and find it a PITA. But I can't rationalize a new camera just to have wireless when this one is only a year or so old. |
A lot of computers these days have SD slots where your camera memory card is read directly into the computer. I had one for years and didn't realize and was still using that old cable to the camera... duh! DH set me straight! lol. Now I don't mind transferring photos anymore :-)

You can also buy a memory card reader. It connects to the computer via USB and usually accepts 3 or 4 kinds of memory cards.

But that still means doing "something physical". Doesn't a new camera with wireless just send them over on command?
