The fall colors from my sewing room are gorgeous these days, but all too soon the trees will be bare and there will be piles of that "white stuff" all over!!!

grammyp 11-02-2010 02:40 PM

Awesome view! We didn't have a lot of color this year. The trees mostly just turned brown and lost their leaves.

KathyAire 11-02-2010 02:41 PM

I'm jealous. Lovely view.

wolfkitty 11-02-2010 02:41 PM

Gorgeous view!

wanderingcreek 11-02-2010 02:57 PM

Beautiful view but let's not mention that white stuff just yet. I'm not ready for it yet. I love the snow but I hate driving in it!

shequilts 11-02-2010 02:58 PM

'Good view anytime!

pheasantduster 11-02-2010 02:59 PM

Wonderful view - I do move out to my kitchen for hand sewing as I have 8" glass doors that let in all that wonderful light! Wherever you quilt is perfect.

lovequilts 11-02-2010 03:07 PM

Wow. look at all the windows. Wonderful

kriscraft99 11-02-2010 03:13 PM

so pretty! I just love fall :)

grammiepamie 11-02-2010 03:14 PM

That view must be wonderful sitting there while you sew!Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dphelps 11-02-2010 03:15 PM

I wish I had your view. It seems the west is getting more color than the lower east.

Jingle 11-02-2010 03:28 PM

Gorgeous view. Our trees are not turning at the same time as usual, usually by this time they have all turned and falling off, some have turned and fallen others are turning now. Weird this year, maybe dryness has caused it.

littlehud 11-02-2010 03:34 PM

What a wonderful view. I just look out at my neighbors house.

SuziC 11-02-2010 03:46 PM

How lucky you are to have such a nice view while sewing :!:
We will have white stuff soon too

quilter2 11-02-2010 04:46 PM

Your so lucky to be able to see all the fall colors, where I live all I ever see is green.

franie 11-02-2010 04:47 PM

Wow look at the colors on those leaves. I have a view from my sewing room too but through a small window and not nearly as attractive but I love it. I love windows and hate to cover them.

On my way to work during the 29 degree morning I heard on the radio that we can expect some "S" flurries later this week! Thank goodness it's just flurries! I can't bear to type in the actual word -- that's why the "S." I will go kicking and screaming into winter! I absolutely hate to drive in it!! You would think that people in Michigan would have learned by now how to navigate in the stuff!! NOT!!!!!

Oh, and get this......I am taking 20 students and 4 chaperones on a two day field trip to Port Huron on November 11-12!!! We are gonna freeze our tushies off!!! We will be staying overnight on a coast guard cutter (the Bramble), and beginning at 11:00 p.m. hourly watch rotations begin!!! Pity the poor soul that has to get up at 3:00 in the morning!! Burr!!!!!!!

hperttula123 11-02-2010 06:28 PM

that's so pretty.

Gramof6 11-02-2010 06:33 PM

I love love love the Fall leaves! You are aso fortunate to have this beautiful view right now. I love snow & we seldom get much here ao I would love your view in the Winters as well. My sewing room has windows that face the brick side of the neighbors home, so I do not even open the mini blinds. If I had a nice view, I would seldom leave that room! Thank You for sharing you lucky gal.

amma 11-02-2010 07:23 PM

Whay an inspirational view :D:D:D

Jo Mama 11-02-2010 07:31 PM

VERY pretty trees - I'm originally from Seattle and miss the seasons. Palm trees don't turn color unless you've killed them...

sueisallaboutquilts 11-02-2010 09:32 PM

How lovely!!! :)

CoventryUK 11-03-2010 12:25 AM

The trees in the UK are beautiful at the moment!! We haven.t had the strong winds we usually get! It is also very mild for this time of year.(Not complaining!!) No doubt things will change soon!!

Same for us here.....no pretty colors, just brown. :-(

pheasantduster 11-03-2010 04:30 AM

Quilter 2 - that is why there is no place like New England - different scenery
four times a year! SuziC - don't like the 'white stuff' but retired so now I can look and admire.

Murphy 11-03-2010 05:48 AM

Beautiful; inspirational.

craftmama 11-03-2010 05:54 AM

beautiful view. that is the one thing I don't get in Florida. No changing of leaves here. (or S**W). Just got back from vacation in North Carolina. It was SO BEAUTIFUL.

Abby'smom 11-03-2010 07:43 AM

Wow -- view is great -- all I get is green and brown since we don't really have 4 seasons, just hot and humid and cold-like and humid

wolph33 11-03-2010 08:08 AM

what a great view

ljsunflower 11-03-2010 09:42 AM

That is gorgeous! Lucky you.

ekbuckeye 11-03-2010 03:06 PM

What a gorgeous view you have! We go from green to brown to bare!

CGail 11-03-2010 04:51 PM

Beautiful view. My husband is from Wisconsin and misses seeing the leaves turn each fall. - Cynthia

Latrinka 11-03-2010 05:19 PM

Annz 11-03-2010 07:14 PM

Oh I would be in my sewing room all fall long if I had that beautiful view.

JuBee 11-03-2010 08:06 PM

Such a beautiful view!!! How I miss the North West.
Judy

CarrieAnne 11-03-2010 08:16 PM

So pretty!

Dee 11-03-2010 09:00 PM

The trees were beautiful, but all blowing away-too soon. Love your view.

madamekelly 11-04-2010 02:23 AM

Our trees are just starting to lose the leaves. We have had a real weird fall here. Normally we get this weather in September. I'm afraid we are going to have a real bad winter. I hope I am wrong, but...

NCquilter 11-04-2010 01:21 PM

The trees are lovely. I love this time of year.
