The Skeleton Crew by Deborah Halber about amateur sleuths who solve America's cold cases (helping name the unidentified dead and find missing persons). Very graphic, but very good. (Love true crime stories).

Love Janet Evanovich (I am a Ranger fan, although Morrelli is okay, too), Barbara Delinsky, Robin Cook, Stuart Woods (his Stone Barrington series), Jonathon Kellerman, Faye Kellerman...if I am not reading at least two books at a time, I'm lost. Will read just about any genre, although whodunits are my favorite.

Like you Anita read at least 2 at a time. people ask me how I keep them straight-----of course you know that is not an issue. I read just about any book that is worth my time and that I find enjoyable. I like Ranger as well!

Right now reading The Quiet Game by Greg Isles and All My Sins Remembered by Rosie Thomas. I love Dennis Lehane, John Hart, Steve Hamilton, Jody Picoult, Elizabeth Berg, Kristin Hannah(most of her books), Louise Erdrich, Ken Follett and lots more. If I had to pick a favorite it would be John Steinbeck.

I just finished John Grisham's latest legal thriller "Gray Mountain". Love legal thrillers!

I am a voracious reader, I read 3-4 books a week on average. On a nice lazy vacation I can read 2-3 books a DAY...it's a little nuts.

Right now I'm reading a fantasy series by SM Stirling that is really interesting, called "Emberverse". About an alternate history, sort of, where there's a "Change" in 1998 and physics change. No more guns, cars, electricity... Society collapses, 80-90% of the worlds population dies, and the survivors have to rebuild society. The world is also apparently "moving back into the age of legends" because things like angels and demons and warring Gods and holy quests for magic swords start to appear. There's even some mention of treadle sewing machines! LOL

I just finished. "Seams Unlikely" by Nancy Zieman (Sewing With Nancy). What an excellent book! She catches your attention and you won't want to put it down. Very well written and lots of interesting things about her and her life experiences. Grab the tissues...it is riveting! I have incredible respect for her. What n amazing life.

I am starting over with Nancy Drew that I loved as a teenager. Also wanting to get back to Flowers in the Attic. The movies are great and would love to read the stories again.

Just finished the latest in the "Outlander" series (book 8) by Diana Gabaldon....For light easy fun laugh out loud reads I like Janet Evanovich - including the ones she writes with other authors. ....
Nora Roberts/JD Robb is my favorite author (the only books i buy any more)
I wait patiently for the next in the Dresden series by Jim Butcher....
oh...and just found a new (to me) funny series by Dakota Cassidy - her "Accidental" series that starts with "Accidentally Werewolf".

Recluse is a good read. To me a good read is something I remember. Another is The Boy In The striped Pajamas. This book is meant for middle school students, but I enjoyed it. I also like any of John Hart's books.

Re-reading The Complete Book of Herbs - Lesley Bremness. Lots of information and all sorts of recipes on using herbs.

I'm too busy lately to read a book but I just picked up "Catherine the Great" by Peter Massie from the thrift store.

I'm kind of a history nerd and he writes very good books about Russia.
