I decided to digitize the images of all 44 Presidents of the United States. I added their names, terms, and Presidential order. Then, I color coded their party. I plan to use all 44-6" blocks in a Presidential Quilt. I don't know when I'll ever get this done. Each block is 15,000 stitches more or less.
It's one more thing on my project list.
One thing is for sure, I learned a lot by doing this.

are you going to cross-stitch them?

History buffs would love a quilt like that. What an undertaking to get all Presidents done - at times like this I bet you wish you were younger so there'd be less to do LOL

No, I digitized them in my embroidery software, so my embroidery machine can stitch them out for me. :)

Oh wow!...That's much easier than cross-stitching...lol.

LOL! This reminds me of an episode of "Little House on the Prairie," when the teacher (It might have been Mary when she was a teacher.) required the students to learn all 16 presidents.

Start it ... one a week and see how it goes!! Great idea and we all will love to see the blocks as each are finished!
