Last Tuesday while I was looking at a new quilt mag I noticed a really cute dinosaur quilt. I pointed it out to my DIL. She mentioned my DGS would love it as he is now into dinosaurs. I thought where can I get this fabric, I looked further and found that it could be ordered from a LQS. Well, this LQS happens to be one I go to. So I ordered it. Now all I had to do was wait.

A LOT has happened since that call. We found my Dear Mother-in Law passed away in her kitchen, and we have been dealing with the aftermath. Needless to say it has been a very traumatic time. I don't think I remember a time when I have been this exhausted. I haven't had a chance to think about sewing let alone actually sitting down at the sewing machine, so when I heard the letter carrier deliver today's mail, I went straight to the door and there was a package. Just when I needed a pick me up there was my little dinosaur quilt kit for my grandson.

Thank you God for bringing something bright and shinning when it's needed most.

I am sorry for your loss. Life does keep moving forward to I believe it was God's blessing to have the kit arrive when it was needed most. Hope to see pics when it is done or while it is in progress.

So sorry for your loss. God gives us what we need and obviously you need something to focus your positive emotions instead of dwelling on the negative feelings you've been experiencing.

Saying a prayer that your pain be eased while working on your quilt.

Doesn't it warm your heart that our Lord would do such a small thing to cheer us? Blessings on you and your family at this time. Janice

Thank you for all the kind thoughts and prayers. Almost all arrangements are made, we're going through pictures for the video, and things are slowing down a bit. Enough so I can take comfort here on the board and start thinking of sewing again. My oldest friend came through for us in a very tight bind. I think I'll make a quilt as a thank you for her.

I have been truly blessed in my life. Thank you God
