Quite the sight to see and just a tad chilly.....LOL

The snowman face is on a planter at the end of the sidewalk. I am not the type to go roll around the snow making snow people.

My thought too, beautiful to look at but once the snow starts to melt and refreeze I want to just stay inside. Don't like the Ice.

Your pics are beautiful. Snow is pretty if I can stay inside.

Zebra2 01-01-2011 06:49 PM

Now that I work out of my home, I really, really LOVE snow(as long as everybody stays safe)!! Would you believe it snowed here in central Nebraska for the 1st time yesterday?? Last winter when I had to get out in it, it snowed all the time!!

These pictures are beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!!

CarrieAnne 01-01-2011 06:54 PM

Pretty!

Kat Heathers 01-01-2011 07:04 PM

Sweet. I have icicles that hang in front of my windows. They gradually start bending towards the house when it warms up. It looks like we are looking out through the teeth of a winter monster.
Your pictures are beautiful, thanks for sharing.

BRRRRRR! But pretty!

BettyGee 01-02-2011 01:16 PM

Beautiful! I'm a big fan of winter, yeah yeah I know I'm nuts. Love snow and now that I'm retired and don't have to drive every day I love it even more. We have been very dry, our mountains have gotten pounded with up to eight feet in some areas. That is our summer water so we're happy.

I bet it isn't too long into Jan. and Buffalo will get plenty. :) We hear about you here in Ohio.

redkimba 01-02-2011 02:37 PM

the snow pictures are amazing, but I am fascinated by the large hanging icicles.

craftymatt2 01-02-2011 03:58 PM

Yeah snow is pretty when it first falls, then it gets dirty, i love it like the pics show. I was born and raised near Chicago, snow every year. I remember one year, my kids were very little and it snowed sooooo much it covered our garage you couldn't see it but we were able to climb to the top and sled down my kids thought that was great we even built a fire and roasted marshmellows and made hot cocoa

penski 01-02-2011 05:00 PM

that snow looks beautiful as long as it is at your house !!!

HisPatchwork 01-02-2011 05:15 PM

These pics look winter Christmas perfect. We had a cold rain and fog all day this Christmas. We seldom get snow and the last snow we got only lasted a little over 2 hours then melted.

adrianlee 01-03-2011 12:03 PM

Always amazing when snowflakes gang up.
