I haven't seen any wooly worms yet, and I don't have a persimmon tree. Any Predictions of what this winter will be?

wow...haven't seen any of those wooly worms either.
Hmm...I'm afraid to hear what kind of winter we'll have this year. lol I live in the snow belt and we have plenty of snow when we don't have a bad winter. I'm so glad I quilt because I love it and always stay busy no matter what time of year it is.

The only one I have seen was all a light yellowish color.

Our local weatherman said this will be year #2 of the La Nina and the second year is usually worse than the first. Oh Oh.

In the south we have loads of acorns. If that means anything I would think cold. More acorns, more food for the squirrels to eat.

I heard its suppose to a very bad one with lots of snow storms, I am not looking forward to it at all.

I've seen the wooly cattipilliars and they don't have a wide dark center, just a blure of something. never seen them look this way before.
I'm buying new shovels.

Centre County in PA just had almost two inches of snow. Here in Eastern PA we've had rain almost every day during September. I hate to think what the winter will bring.

The only one I saw - so far - was also only yellow. Squeak (the cat) was watching it.

I don't know anything about woolly worms, but we have already had two record breaking winters here in Ireland. After the first, I thought nothing could top that, then the second came along and DID!

I don't think I can bear the thought of a third.
