We are under a winter storm advisory! That means I get to stay home and sew! Actually I want to go over to a craft show at the local school as my quliting buddies have some stuff there for sale--I don't want to buy quilting stuff but just want to chit chat with them--LOL. I love winter!

Better you than me. At least it has cooled down here. It was in the 30's last night and low 60's today. Perfect!

It has been almost 100 for the past few days here in San Diego! A little cooler today, but who ever heard of 100 degrees in November?????

Winter storms are not too far away now here in New Hampshire. Today it is cool, cloudy, windy, with the sun coming out once in a while. And when it does, it lights up the leaves remaining on the trees.

So foggy here I'm not able to see the end of my driveway. Great day to be inside and quilting!

We are getting flurries right now, and I am not happy! We are on our way out to the Oddmall craft show and my joints are killing me, blergh! We very rarely get snow before Thanksgiving, but the paper said it was supposed to be a snowy winter.

We went to the fall festival this morning - it's only 53º right now and 'sposed to get down to 29º tonite...
We saw everything from flip-flops to fuzzy boots, from t-shirts to sweatshirts/heavy coats and "Michigan" hats (with flaps down even)... cool weather in south Alabama is hysterical time for people watching... LOL

Makes us really wonder what would happen around here if it REALLY got cold - or if they REALLY got more than a 'dusting' of snow.... (if they get 3 inches they call it a blizzard!) And do NOT get on the road here if it is snowing or freezing drizzle because these folks do NOT slow down for the conditions - just keep zooming along until they wipe out and land in a ditch!!....

People watching here is hilarious in the high school parking lot in the winter. Flip flops belly baring tee shirts and pajama bottoms with no coat in January!!!

Hope you get over to see your friends. My niece (lives in Anchorage) just sent an email saying she got stuck in the driveway and her dad had to pull her car out! That part I don't miss, but there is a lot of Alaska I do miss! It is nice to stay inside and watch the snow, hope you get a lot of sewing done.

Have fun! I love snow, had lots of it growing up in NW Kentucky. Around here we rarely get any, but when we do everything shuts down then we get our snow days! :)
