i love hearing about how to stretch a dime. My mother never wasted a thing in her life time and was s saver. She was a depression child and learned first hand how to make something last. But, she also traveled the world and bought herself furs and jewels as a reward. Smart hard working money saving woman.

Just read this and felt reinforced in my own feelings about my own personal heritage and legacy from my family before me--mothers and grandmothers, etc. It's a time when we would all do well to remember what we have been given and not take things for granted. Conserve, be grateful, relish the simple joys and give back. Thank you for the Beauty of reminiscing you provided.
