Whatever you are -- Be a good one!
A good time to keep your mouth shut is when you're in deep water.
Money will buy a fine dog, but only kindness will make him wag his tail.
If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies
I was laughing so hard I had tears running down my legs
The heart ages last
I have gone to find myself. If I am not back before I return, keep me here.
Taste every moment and live it out loud.
Don't cry because it is over - Smile because it happened
No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is won't make you cry.
The babbling brook would lose its song if you removed the rocks.
Everything is ok in the end! If not, then it's not the end
It's the silence between the notes that makes the music.
When you were born you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a manner that when you die the world cries and you rejoice.
I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.
Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads.
The bluebird carries the sky on its back.
I've learned that the Lord didn't do it in one day - what makes me think I can?
When it is the darkest, you can see the stars
If your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

I collect sayings!!!!! Edie

Home is where your heart is.
Life is what happens when you are making other plans
Home is where you story begins
Handle every situation like a dog...if you can't eat it or chew on it...pee on it and walk away.
Sometimes you are the bug..sometimes you are the windshield
We're old, we're tired; but ...we ain't ugly
A plump wife, and a big barn...never did any man harm
All love that has not friendship for it's base, is like a mansion built upon sand. Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Sooner or later we all quote our mothers.
Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

I was sad because I had no shoes, til I saw a man who had no feet.

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day - teach him how to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime.

Give me you convictions if you have them, but keep your doubts to yourself - for I have enough of my own.

laughingquilter 02-21-2012 06:28 AM

Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us but by the attitude we bring to life.
