It`s wild strawberry picking time up here and thy are just starting out....went looking for some yesterday....believe me, my back won`t let me forget!! LOL This is one of my favorite passtimes...wild strawberry picking....this year thy are so hard to find....finaly yesterday i found these....never in 59 yrs have I seen some this big!!! amazing!!!

Wow! Either the weather really agreed with them this season, or maybe some bees cross-pollinated them with domestic berries? They look delicious though!

at first i thought thy were domestic ones too, but this was at the end of a road way in the bush around a communication tower...almost impossible...lol just amazing!

I used to pick strawberries for .05 cents a quart. I'm sure glad they were bigger than the ones you've been picking though. I would never earn a nickel. Are they sweet? Usually the smallest domestic strawberries are the sweetest. Good job.
