I sure am. I used to never cry in front of anyone. But I guess the older I get (I'm not so old yet.), I'm finding I'll cry at any old thing. And I'll cry over any old emotion, happy or sad. AND I LIKE IT!

Yesterday, I went to the card store and ended up crying while reading all the cards. An adolescent girl happened to walk down that isle and gave me a strange look. In my earlier days, it would have embarrassed me. But yesterday it struck me as really funny, which just made me cry even more.

I cry over all the little things now. I used to feel like I had to be stoic and maintain face but now I know that crying isn't a sign of weakness, it is human.

I do cry over sad things and tear jerker movies but mostly I cry when I am extremely mad. My family knows if they made me cry they better watch out.

I cry when they play the Star Spangled Banner and there are people in uniforms around...guaranteed to see me with Kleenex and sobbing...tearing up now just thinking of it.

"Remember the Titans"....I know which scenes to leave the room for or I'm boo hooing every single time...now I see my DH tears up too.

Movies -- funny or sad, tales and stories, hearing my kids on the phone say they love us (youngest is 26)and other simple things seem to mean so much more to me now than they did a few years ago.

I try to get away and just say my eyes are leaking but who am I kidding? I am now considered a crier and that's okay with me.
