you look at your co-worker, husband, friend's clothes and think that the fabric would look wonderful in a quilt.

Could care less if you ever cooked supper again-takes time away from quilting!

When you go from never checking the mail to running to the mail box everyday to see if your quilt mag or coupons came that day :D

When you drive 30 miles for a fat quarter you need.

Yes! I have been known to BEG my husband to drive me to Manhattan (50 miles away) for me to pick up 1 item. It is the only time he has ever said, "I really think you need to go back into the store and get some more stuff". :)

When you will press 10 yards of fabric but won't iron the family clothing. :lol:

When you sit with friends at the county fair and realize that the colorful bulbs on the ride are really a set of flyin geese and a star.

I found myself doing this yesterday to a co-worker and I have NEVER done this before!

I like this one since my husband does 95% of the cookng.

Yes love this one. I hate ironing so knowing that everything needs pressing in quilting almost turned me off but now I love pressing.....I still hate ironing :lol:

When really any major, or even not so major event warrants the creation of a quilt. ;)

Oh, I've done this one......my first quilt top is so similar to that on the Today show background; actually, I'm looking at it now.

When instead of empty nest cause your daughter moved out you get excited cause you now have a "sewing room" instead of your sewing stuff strewn accross the house.

I totally do this!! There's a diamond pattern on the floor where I work, and I always see a quilt block there. Sheesh, and I thought I was the only one...........

Your daughter decides to brush the dog and she has threads in her fur! True story.

You ask your daughter to check your clothes for stray threads before you leave for your guild meeting and her response is "Why bother because all of your friends will look just the same".

Whenever you watch a show on TV you look for any quilts that might be in the show and don't concentrate on the show itself.
