Default barter time

I get a lot of free fabric given to me ever since the neighbors found out I quilt. I take a lot of the smaller cuts and give them to a friend of mine. She in turn makes doll clothes with them. For each bag I give her, she makes a couple of outfits for a little girl's american girl doll. I give them to my friends daughter....We are all happy!!!!! I love bartering....

In this case, all come out winners. Good arrangement.

That's the way to do it. I have a friend like that, also. It's a win-win situation.

I love the barter system, and use it whenever I can. I got a beautiful Singer redeye treadle last year buy bartering felted wool hat/mitten sets. I went to buy the machine on my way home from doing a craft show. I ended up with the machine AND cash from the guy~
