If anyone is interested in pictures of the flooding in Australia - the area affected is the size of Germany and France combined. After years of drought, the irony of it all... just about as devastating as the cyclones can be.

How horrible! Stay safe and as dry as you can. You're in our prayers.

Flooding usually means being cut off, so we won't know if our Queensland and Northern New South Wales quilters are OK for a while. Hope they are all safe.

I hope you are all safe and dry. We had flooding in our town last summer. The clean up is never ending.

My brother and his family live in Nambour, Queensland and I am staying in touch with them. Thankfully their house sits very high and they are doing ok. This is so sad...My thoughts are with you.

oh my what a mess.I feel for you all. I did read the comments and it sounds like Americans have something to learn from you all. It sounds like people pitched in and helped each other much more than here.
Good luck and I hope it clears up soon.
