Does anyone remember the old dectective shows? Who was the detective that wore a long trench coat and had a bassett hound? I know there was Kojack and Rockford files I can't seem to think of any more.

Played by Peter Falk. I think it was Columbo b/c Cannon was the heavy guy. Columbo always acted stupid and people fell for it.

This brings back a lot of memories...Cannon had a bulldog I think, and remember the blind detective Longstreet (played by James Franciscus) and his white german shepherd Pax.
