I got into that slump right before Christmas..I had my presents all done and just didn't know where to start..so I just walked away...it comes back to you! Now I am working on the Michael Miller prima vera iris quilt...but...I cut the backing too small..so again...just walked away..tomorrow is another day..I'll go through my stash and find another backing...tomorrow I quilt!!! LOL

I am looking forward to quilting tomorrow...the decorations are down and the house is back to normal....so I can quilt till Wednesday when it will be time to go back to work.

I am busy cutting up tumblers from my scrap pile to make a scrappy tumbler quilt...I normally do small tumblers for leader and ender quilts for my large quilts but today I am going to be making more burp clohes and using the tumbler pieces as the the leader and enders so I will be making the quilt at the same time...I love doing that...its amazing how quickly they go together.

My friend bought over two boxes of fabric that she got from a woman that her father owned a fabric store and these are all of the remince pieces..all had tags on them...so took the tags off, washing, iron and cutting them up...I just started laying them out..very different an many kinds of fabrics...I cut them into small tumblers since they are so different...I hope this comes out nice...I also cut enough for my friend so she can make one too ; )I do wish there were more dark colors... I only dug into one box so far...it can be a bit overwhelming....but once cut it is nice.
