I got another one of those renewal notices on another magazine that I'm good til 2012. :( I got them for QNL alot but this one was for Quiltmaker, (my favorite)....two payments of $24.95 with a total of $59.95???? I ripped it up and then thought I probably should have notified Quiltmaker...how many people fall for this????

Yeah...I got their number too  I keep a note card in my mail basket with dates I mail in all my magazine subscriptions. Then I have a quick reference tool. It used to be garden mags now they are Quilting.

This is so bad, when I rally get one for ligitimate, I keep looking at it to make sure it;s for real. If I can't tell, I call them. Such a shame. Shame on you scammers. I am now keeping a record of my subcriptions by keeping when I started and when it should end in the same binder I put my mags in, in plastic sheets.

I just got one too. I wrote a very pointed letter the last time I got one and told them to take me off their list. I didn't expect it to work. Maybe I'll call them. I saved the latest notice.

we've been getting a zillion calls from yellow book to renew our listing (which we don't have). The same person calls, each time with a different name, but the same voice. It shows up as Out of Area on the caller ID. My assistant and I are disgusted- I've asked to be taken off the list, been sort of nasty (which she says is still nice) so she answered it- when they went through their speil Sue says- can I have your number please. They asked why- she says- in this sweet as honey voice- so I can call you 4 times a day and ask you if you want my services and not take no for an answer. We haven't had any calls since. :)

I'm wondering if these were given to the post office, if they can do anything. It might constitute some kind of fraud.
