Default quilt shops in San Diego

I will be going to San Diego in a few weeks. Does anyone know of any quilt shops or good fabric stores in the area?

Doesn't Eleanor Burns have a store in that area?

There's a cute one in Chula Vista - can't remember the name right now. There are a bunch within 30 miles or so of SD. Definitely go to Rosie's - it's fabulous.

Boy, are you in luck!! The Southern California Quilter's Run is this weekend, including Thursday. You won't be in town to participate in the run itself, but you can go to their website and get the map complete with the directions and maps. They also have descriptions of all of the participating shops. There are about 30 shops total, about 11 are in the San Diego area. Rosie's isn't participating in the run, so she won't be on the map. Just ask in one of the southern most shops and they'll help you out with directions. Just don't miss out on her shop, it is almost overwhelming! There is a shop in Palm Desert that is really special. If you can get there it's worth the trip. Monica's Quilt and Bead Creations. The website is www.quiltersrun.com/
