This is the first Christmas in years I have no work in progress for anyone, just a little table topper for us, but I recognize the stress some are feeling as they try to finish those quilts on time and aren't always satisfied with the results. I picked up this quote someplace in my quilt world and would like to share it with you.
"At the end of the day, the quilts you leave your children and grandchildren will not be appreciated because all of the points in your quilt lined up, but appreciated because you were the one who made them." (anon)

This is a great quote. I have 2 quilts from grandmother and 1 from my mom and I love them all for that very reason. If there are any mistakes, I do not see them- the love overpowers them.
