Default Raggedy Ann Doll

I just finished this Raggedy Ann doll for my daughter's first birthday, tomorrow. I love the way she turned out! I wish I had had one just like her when I was young. I used an old 1970s McCall pattern, complete with the embroidered "I love you" on the heart. I am very proud of her and can't WAIT to see my little girl's face when she sees it! She is a big Raggedy Ann fan I had to keep the pattern face down on my sewing desk or she would want it! Thanks for looking

Such a cute doll. I still remember mine from when I was little (500 years ago...)

You did a terrific job, the doll id fabulous. To me, the hardest part of dollmaking is the face - and you nailed it! Your little girl will be thrilled.

Super. I made many rag dolls in my day but never managed a Raggedy Ann. I love her but no longer have little girls to sew for. Maybe I need one for myself.
